This page gathers the technical information usually requested at design stage and in tenders: CE marking of the systems, compliance with the Spanish Technical Building Code (CTE) and thermal transmittance calculations.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CE marking and Declaration of Performance<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every system we supply is installed with its CE marking and the manufacturer's Declaration of Performance (DoP). The relevant harmonised standards are:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>UNE-EN 14351-1<\/strong> \u2014 windows and external pedestrian doors.<\/li><li><strong>UNE-EN 13830<\/strong> \u2014 curtain walling.<\/li><li><strong>UNE-EN 12600<\/strong> \u2014 classification of glass under pendulum impact.<\/li><\/ul><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We hand over the DoP for each system together with the site documentation.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CTE DB-SUA \u2014 safety in use<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glass balustrades and parapets are designed to the SUA Basic Document of the Spanish Technical Building Code and the actions defined in DB-SE-AE:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Horizontal load on the top edge:<\/strong> 0.8 kN\/m in private and residential areas and 1.6 kN\/m in areas open to the public (CTE DB-SE-AE, table 3.3).<\/li><li><strong>Barrier height:<\/strong> 0.90 m for drops of up to 6 m and 1.10 m for greater drops (DB-SUA 1).<\/li><li><strong>Impact safety:<\/strong> laminated glass classified to UNE-EN 12600, in accordance with DB-SUA 2.<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Uw thermal transmittance and energy efficiency<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We calculate the thermal transmittance of the opening (Uw) to UNE-EN ISO 10077-1, combining the frame (Uf), the glazing (Ug) and the spacer. For every project we provide:<\/p><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Valor <strong>Uw<\/strong> for each type of opening, compared against the CTE DB-HE 1 requirements for the relevant climate zone.<\/li><li><strong>Solar factor<\/strong> of the glazing (g) and a solar control solution where the orientation requires it.<\/li><li><strong>Air permeability<\/strong> (UNE-EN 12207), <strong>watertightness<\/strong> (UNE-EN 12208) y <strong>resistance to wind load<\/strong> (UNE-EN 12210).<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Documentation we provide<\/h2><ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Technical report and system data sheets (Cortizo, Reynaers, Sch\u00fcco, Aluprof).<\/li><li>Declarations of Performance (DoP) and CE marking.<\/li><li>Uw calculation per opening and justification against CTE DB-HE.<\/li><li>Structural calculation of balustrades and glass to DB-SUA and DB-SE.<\/li><li>Shop drawings and construction details for fixings and sealing.<\/li><li>Works programme and on-site acceptance protocol.<\/li><\/ul><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technical audit of the project<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We review your glazing design and issue a fixed quote within 5 working days: an engineer's site visit, a drawings review and a written fixed price, with no obligation.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Write to us at <a href=\"mailto:safe.smart.energy@gmail.com\">safe.smart.energy@gmail.com<\/a> or call <a href=\"tel:+34637729596\">+34 637 72 95 96<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trabajamos con estudios de arquitectura, project managers y promotoras en la Costa del Sol.
